Moulin Rouge! Skcin Charity Annual Ball 2008
On Saturday 26th January 2008, Skcin; (The Karen Clifford Skin Cancer Charity) hosted their second annual fundraising ball ‘Moulin Rouge!’ 300 glamorous guests gathered for the red carpet, champagne reception, followed by a five course dinner and fabulous cabaret entertainment from the sensational Campbell Bass, his musicians and the Jayne Ross School of Dance.
Sam and Amy from Heart 106 Breakfast show hosted the charity auction in style and the evening was a huge success raising a massive £20,000 for the charity who’s ambition is to become a National voice in raising the awareness of the danger of over-exposure to the sun. The charity would like to thank all those who attended the event, donated the fabulous auction prizes and assisted in making the night, yet another one to remember.
As campaigners for regulation on sunbed use for under 18's Skcin are delighted that the bill to regulate sunbed use has passed its latest parliamentary hurdle....
