SKCIN "ON THE ROAD"
It’s big, it’s bold and it most certainly gets over the message! The charity has secured an all-over painted bus advertisement targeting the Nottingham public on the dangers of over exposure to the sun.
The Nottingham City Transport single-deck vehicle will operate in the city and districts for a six month period and carries the message “ Global Warning. “ In additional it seeks to improve the profile of skin cancer drawing attention to the soaring rates of the disease in the UK and urges people to “cover-up” with SPF 30+ sun screen.
Launched “ on air “ by the charity’s Chairman, BBC local radio and TV presenter, John Holmes, the vehicle is almost entirely wrapped in a special vinyl and the cost of fixing was donated by fixing contractor and charity supporter, Alan Ducker.
Bus advertising contractor Titanbus also assisted the charity and Skcin wish to thank Nottingham City Transport for their assistance.
