UVISTAT Presentation

Anthony Hubbard, from LPC Pharmaceuticals Ltd (Uvistat) presented the dermatology department at Queens Medical Centre, with a model of skin which will be used to educate skin cancer patients about their disease. The department ran a national skin surgery course for nurses and Anthony attended to support the nurses and to talk about the work of Skcin.
The teaching aid will help the doctors and nurses explain about melanoma and how the disease can progress if not treated and LPC Pharmaceuticals Ltd intend to produce the model for other dermatology departments around the UK. As campaigners for regulation on sunbed use for under 18's Skcin are delighted that the bill to regulate sunbed use has passed its latest parliamentary hurdle....
